Roland announce new models to their TD and HD Electronic drum kits range at NAMM 2012.

The Roland HD-3 V-Drums Lite is a new entry level kit aimed at beginners and those looking for a quiet practice kit. It comes with a small footprint but sounds impressively large.

The Fender Machete is an all new, high-performance, high-gain, high-end amplifier that combines tube sound with highly distinctive cosmetics. The Machete will deliver 50W of pure valve tone into a Celestion Vintage speaker.

The Superchamp range has been updated to the Fender Superchamp X2. The range is made up of the Superchamp X2 Combo, the Superchamp X2 HD Head, and matching SC112 Speaker Cabinet. Super Champ X2 amps come fully loaded with a range of features including amp modelling, digital effect and even a USB audio interface for recording.

Finally with the Super Bassman, Bassman 100T and range of Bassman Neo cabinets, Fender has announced a new Pro series of bass amplifers, heads and cabinets. The Super Bassman produces a monster 300W of power while the 100T maxes at 100W but can be reduced to 25W at the flick of a switch for practice. The Bassman Neo range will comprise of Bassman 115 NEO, Bassman 410 NEO, Bassman 610 NEO, and Bassman 810 NEO cabinets.

The Fender Johnny Marr Signature Jaguar is the latest addition to the Artist Series electric guitars. The guitar will be available in Olympic White and Metallic KO and to quote Johnny Marr himself, “… sounds like I’m supposed to sound.”
